The Prosthodontics Graduate Program provides a three-year postgraduate curriculum culminating in a Master of Science degree and prosthodontics certification. This program dedicates roughly 60% of its focus to clinical practice, covering fixed, removable, implant, and maxillofacial prosthodontic procedures. Students must complete coursework in prosthodontics along with subjects like research methodology, dental education, oral pathology, and biostatistics.
Non-prosthodontics academic courses are primarily scheduled during the initial year. Residents also serve as Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs), typically instructing undergraduate dental students.
The program strongly emphasizes research to develop residents' ability to form clinical decisions grounded in scientific evidence and to critically assess research literature. Completing an original research project is a compulsory requirement for program graduation.
All prospective students must hold a DDS, DMD or equivalent degree from a dental school. The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
