The M.S.Ed. in School Counseling equips aspiring counselors to design, manage, execute, and assess comprehensive developmental counseling programs across K-12 education levels. Grounded in the principles of the Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Program (Gysbers, Kostek-Bunch, Magnuson & Starr), this graduate program highlights how student learning in public schools connects with a counselor's responsibilities in the educational process. Its core objective is to train future school counselors with the competencies needed to help young people successfully navigate academic, career, and personal growth challenges.
