The Advanced Graduate Program in Endodontics is a three-year curriculum culminating in an MMSc degree in oral biology along with an endodontics certification. Students may pursue a four-year DMSc degree for academic or research career paths. This program aims to cultivate skilled endodontists with comprehensive training in biological sciences, research techniques, and instructional methods. The comprehensive education in endodontics and related graduate studies equips participants with the necessary foundation for professional practice, scientific investigation, and teaching roles. The curriculum also aligns with the American Board of Endodontics certification requirements. Clinical training constitutes about 40% of the program, where students treat patients at Harvard Dental Center under close faculty supervision. Performance standards emphasize treatment quality and case variety, requiring completion of 200-225 nonsurgical treatments, 20-30 surgical procedures, and a minimum of 50 follow-up cases.
