Developed by the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (ESE) at UNC Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health, our Master of Science in Environmental Engineering (MSEE) offers both one-year practical and two-year research tracks. This program equips students with essential air quality and sustainable water resource expertise to tackle contemporary environmental and public health challenges.
The MSEE curriculum extends beyond core air and water principles to explore cutting-edge advancements at local and global scales. Students may optionally participate in faculty-led research across various disciplines.

Applicant must have Undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or foreign institution with an equivalent program.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
