The Endodontics Graduate Program aims to cultivate specialists skilled in comprehensive endodontic care, encompassing orofacial pain diagnosis, nonsurgical treatments, advanced surgical procedures, research methodologies, and teaching techniques while promoting continuous professional growth through critical thinking and lifelong learning.
Graduates qualify to pursue certification from the American Board of Endodontics. At the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, students can complete a three-year postgraduate program resulting in both an endodontics certificate and a Master of Science degree.
All prospective residents must hold a DDS, DMD or equivalent degree from a dental school. The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
