By pursuing an MPH/MCRP dual-degree, students gain expertise in applying social and behavioral science approaches to transform community environments, enhancing public health, safety, and quality of life. The Health Behavior and City and Regional Planning departments both focus on impactful social initiatives that benefit individuals and neighborhoods. This integrated program merges competencies from both disciplines, teaching students to design urban spaces and social structures that improve health outcomes. Upon completion, students receive both a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) degrees within a three-year period.
