The Public Management graduate certificate (PBMG) equips students with essential skills for principled leadership in government and nonprofit organizations. This curriculum covers both operational knowledge within public-service entities and their interactions with external stakeholders. The PBMG certificate serves three key audiences: working professionals seeking a dedicated public management credential, career changers transitioning into public service, and graduate students aiming to boost their job prospects through specialized training. Upon completion, graduates emerge as skilled leaders ready for executive positions in state and federal agencies. Admission requires an accredited bachelor's degree and fulfillment of Texas A&M University's graduate program standards. Current Texas A&M graduate students may enroll in individual courses, while qualified undergraduates at the College Station campus can participate with proper GPA standing. All candidates must complete formal program enrollment and meet certificate requirements to receive the credential. Successful participants earn a joint certificate from Texas A&M University and the Bush School, with course grades and certification noted on official transcripts.
Resume must be uploaded to the GraduateCAS application in order to submit application.
Official transcripts from all four-year colleges/universities attended for undergraduate courses must be sent directly from the issuing university to the Office of Graduate Admissions at Texas A&M University.
