Our musicology graduate program is designed to cultivate versatile scholars equipped with the expertise to teach professionally and conduct impactful original research. The Music Department provides two advanced degrees: a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Musicology. Typically, students advance from the M.A. to the Ph.D., with our financial support structured under this progression assumption.
The usual prerequisite for admission to graduate work is a bachelor of arts degree with a major in music, or a bachelor of music degree, comparable to those given at this university.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
