The Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology program equips students with research and teaching expertise in epidemiology via coursework, doctoral research, practical experiences, and preliminary exams.

Relevant master's or professional degree. Students who have not earned a relevant master's or professional degree may still be admitted to the doctoral program; however, these students are required to complete the Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in the Department of Epidemiology before beginning doctoral coursework.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
