The Education Ph.D. program develops skilled researchers capable of addressing complex issues encountered by students, administrators, and policy makers across early childhood through higher education settings. UNC's interdisciplinary approach encourages faculty and students from varied backgrounds to work together, creating meaningful research initiatives. Program alumni are equipped for academic leadership roles in research and instruction at top-tier universities and research organizations.
A bachelor’s degree is required for application to the Ph.D in Education program. Applicants with Master’s degrees are also encouraged to apply.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
