Mathematics - the exploration of numbers, structures, and relationships - is an elegant field with a storied 2,500-year legacy. While intrinsically compelling, mathematics also serves as the fundamental basis for all STEM fields, with our alumni achieving success across diverse sectors. Our undergraduate program accordingly delivers robust preparation for both graduate studies and professional pathways in business, technology, industry, government, and education. Prospective majors can review required coursework on our degree requirements page, while upperclassmen may explore our catalog of recent advanced offerings (5000-level courses are typically available to undergraduates at the 4000 level). Qualified students may join our honors program or pursue a mathematics minor.
