The Organization, Information and Learning Sciences (OILS) Program provides a Master of Arts (MA) degree that enables students to integrate elements of adult education, corporate training and development, learning theories, and educational technologies such as digital media design and online education. The curriculum covers fundamentals of information and data handling, along with creating, implementing, and assessing training programs.
Those choosing this path must fulfill 15 credit hours of required courses plus 15 credit hours in their selected specialization. For details on available specializations, see our OILS Concentrations page. This course-based track isn't advisable for students planning to pursue doctoral studies, as it lacks the research-focused experiences necessary for advanced academic work.
