This specialization offers students a cross-disciplinary foundation in the concepts and approaches needed to analyze economic, political, and developmental challenges across Latin America. Learners will develop competencies as global mediators and interpreters in economic systems. The program exposes students to development frameworks and trends in the region, covering market evolution, economic mechanisms, and governance structures in both public and private sectors. Students can choose relevant courses from various departments including Economics, Geography and Environmental Studies, Political Science, and Sociology, along with offerings from the Anderson School of Management and School of Public Administration. This track is particularly suitable for those enrolled in the combined MALAS/MBA degree program.
