Founded in 1970, the UNM Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation has pioneered exceptional orthopaedic treatment for New Mexico and the surrounding Southwest region. We dedicate ourselves to excellence in medical education, musculoskeletal research, and delivering state-of-the-art general and specialized orthopaedic services.

As New Mexico's sole Level-1 Trauma Center, we educate upcoming healthcare professionals in innovative techniques while promoting understanding of orthopaedic health and injury prevention.

Complete a bachelor's degree in any field by the spring semester May 2025 (semester curriculum) or June 2025 (trimester curriculum).
Have a cumulative GPA from all coursework, both undergraduate and graduate combined, of greater than or equal to 2.67.
Arrange for two professional references (1 must be from a PT).
