Printmaking has served as the foundational context for referencing and distributing all artistic mediums, while also standing as a unique art form itself. The UNM Printmaking Program provides training in diverse print techniques such as Intaglio, Lithography, Monotype, Relief, Screenprinting, and Digital Methods. Beyond conventional practices, students are redefining printmaking's place in modern art by exploring interdisciplinary approaches and creative experimentation. A distinctive offering at UNM is the Collaborative Lithography class, conducted in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Tamarind Institute of Lithography.
