The world of music is in a perpetual state of transformation, as is the technology that supports it. Our Bachelor of Science in Music Technology & Innovation merges musical expertise with engineering principles to equip students for leadership roles in our ever-changing audio environment.

Program participants engage with coursework across three interconnected domains: the study of music history, theory, and artistic expression; techniques and practices in sound recording; and musical proficiency. Beyond these core music and technology classes, students select one of two specialized tracks, further developed through courses offered by the University's Tagliatela College of Engineering:

The Electronics Track. This path emphasizes analog sound technologies, with coursework in calculus, physics, and electrical engineering.
The Digital Systems Track. This option concentrates on digital audio technologies, featuring classes in coding, digital systems, and network applications.

To culminate their studies, students integrate these cross-disciplinary abilities in a final music technology project, showcasing both technical mastery of sound and creative application of technological tools.
