Technology plays a vital role in how we interact with audio. From recording studios to concert venues, social networks to movie sets, and gaming studios to sports arenas, skilled sound professionals are indispensable. Modern music creation for pop stars, films, and symphonic works benefits greatly from advanced digital audio tools.
Our BA in Music & Sound Recording operates on the principle that audio engineers must understand the creative process behind what they capture. Students explore three interconnected disciplines: musical heritage and appreciation, technical recording practices, and performance skills. This program emphasizes the craft of audio production. Our instructors are working professionals - engineers, producers, and composers - who bring real-world experience into the classroom. Throughout the curriculum, students develop core competencies in sound creation and modification, learning to apply these abilities across diverse contexts.
