Our Master of Science in Biochemistry program offers a challenging academic curriculum in biochemistry and allied fields, paired with diverse cross-disciplinary research possibilities. You'll have the chance to explore specialized areas like pharmacological studies, physical biochemistry, endocrine systems, biomolecular structures, or oncology research. This advanced biochemistry degree equips students for thriving careers in biotech firms, pharmaceutical companies, clinical laboratories, academic institutions, or government research facilities, while also providing strong preparation for pursuing PhDs, medical/dental degrees, veterinary medicine, or other healthcare-related advanced programs.
The Biochemistry M.S. program merges an intensive course of study in biochemical sciences with cutting-edge research opportunities spanning biochemistry, molecular biology, and cellular biology. Program alumni are well-positioned for professional success in biotech and pharmaceutical industries, as well as research roles in academic or governmental settings. The degree also serves as excellent preparation for those continuing to doctoral studies, medical education, or other graduate-level healthcare programs.
Students must have a completion of foundational courses in biology, chemistry (including organic chemistry), physics, and mathematics.
International applicants must hold a four-year baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as a precondition for applying to any of our graduate programs. In some cases, you may also need a master’s degree or its equivalent.

Minimum score requirements are as follows: TOEFL (Computer-based): 213; TOEFL (Internet-based): 80; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5; TOEFL ITP (Institution Administered): On case-by-case basis; TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): On case-by-case basis; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59.
