The dual Master's in Public Policy and Juris Doctor (MPP/JD) program offers comprehensive insight into the intersection of legal and policy matters. This combined degree in public policy and law equips you with essential analytical abilities and expertise to address diverse, intricate issues in today's legal and policy landscapes.
The Carsey School of Public Policy's MPP enhances the JD by providing a solid foundation in public policy principles. Typically completed in three and a half years, this dual program delivers significant time and cost efficiencies. JD coursework occurs at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law in Concord, while MPP classes are held at UNH's Durham campus. Part of the policy-focused experiential learning occurs during the January-term colloquium in Washington, D.C. Additionally, students fulfill an internship with a policy organization or complete a legal externship.
