To become a registered dietitian, you must complete several steps: obtaining a bachelor's degree, finishing an accredited dietetics education program, completing an approved internship, and passing the national certification exam. The UNH DPD graduate certificate program caters to those who already hold a bachelor's degree but need the required DPD verification for internship eligibility. The program covers nutritional biochemistry, community and clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and includes hands-on training. Additionally, the curriculum addresses important nutrition topics and guides students through the digital dietetic internship application process.
