Nutritional sciences encompass the exploration of biology, chemistry, physiology, nutrition, biochemistry, and physics, alongside foundational coursework in nutritional evaluation, life stage nutrition, health relationships, and career pathways. Graduates of this program gain qualifications suitable for medical, dental, nursing, or physical therapy schools, advanced academic pursuits, or science-based technical careers. At UNH, nutritional sciences students enjoy not just a thorough academic program but also hands-on learning through clinical and non-clinical internships and research projects. Our dedicated professors, specialists in their field, offer personalized mentorship aligned with each learner's aspirations, whether pursuing further education or immediate employment. Additionally, the UNH-in-Italy initiative enables students to immerse themselves in Ascoli Piceno's historic setting while examining food traditions, eco-friendly farming practices, and food policy challenges through English-taught classes.
