Designed for aspiring elementary and middle school math teachers, this program offers comprehensive mathematical training combined with modern teaching methodologies and deep insights into student learning. As a mathematics education student, you'll benefit from direct collaboration with the mathematics department while partnering with the education department to earn New Hampshire teaching credentials. You'll learn from distinguished mathematicians, statisticians, and educators actively engaged in their fields. The curriculum covers advanced mathematics concepts, K-8 classroom mathematics, and effective teaching strategies. An accelerated five-year pathway leads to both a master's degree and teaching certification. Experience intimate, focused classes and diverse practical learning opportunities. Our faculty includes recipients of notable awards such as the Grammy and MacArthur Fellowship. Graduates have consistently earned the competitive Department of Defense SMART Scholarship.
Each student must have their official high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.

Minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version); recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5; recommend Duolingo score is 105 or higher.
