The health and physical education major equips you to instruct school-aged students in techniques and approaches that enhance their wellness and lifestyle. This program focuses on building your core understanding and practical teaching abilities in areas like health behavior modification, movement principles, and athletics. At UNH, undergraduates in this field acquire the expertise to create impactful health and physical education curricula that positively influence children and adolescents.
The Honors in Major program enables students to pursue rigorous, specialized work within their discipline. It promotes self-directed learning plans and fosters collaborative partnerships between students and professors. Available to all UNH students meeting GPA requirements, this track allows for honors distinction at graduation. While University Honors Program participants must complete Honors in Major, membership in UHP isn't required to participate in this advanced academic opportunity.
