This BME specialization is incorporated within both the electrical engineering (EE) and computer engineering (CE) curricula.

You will gain practical experience in laboratory settings that complement traditional classroom instruction while developing the practical skills employers seek. In their final year, students select from a range of professional technical electives and complete a capstone design project aligned with their career goals.

The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Specialization is designed to equip computer and/or electrical engineers with the essential knowledge needed to deliver engineering services in the biomedical field.
