This accelerated program is tailored for students passionate about history who also plan to earn a law degree. Through the history curriculum, you'll develop essential analytical and communication abilities while exploring historical events and their relevance today. During your senior year, you'll start law coursework while finishing your history bachelor's degree. With just two additional years of study, you'll obtain your law degree in six years instead of the typical seven.
For driven students, the History/Law 3+3 pathway offers substantial time and cost savings. You'll learn from distinguished, globally renowned professors in one of the nation's premier history departments before transitioning to our committed law faculty. Throughout this six-year journey, you'll gain practical experience by collaborating with professors on research initiatives, engaging in internships, studying abroad, and participating in UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law's Legal Residency Program.
