The Bachelor of Arts in History requires at least 30 semester hours of history courses, with a minimum of 18 semester hours at the advanced level (100-level or higher).
Students can opt for a Public History Concentration. Detailed requirements are provided in the following section.
All major courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
The History Department encourages students to complement their studies with relevant courses from other departments that align with their historical interests, or to pursue a dual major in another discipline. Additionally, developing foreign language skills beyond the university's basic requirement is strongly advised, particularly in reading and speaking proficiency.
