By selecting the classical languages and literatures degree path, you'll examine the history, philosophy, and languages of ancient Greece and Rome, delving into the roots of Western culture. This program mandates proficiency in both Greek and Latin, equipping you for advanced classical studies or teaching Latin in high schools. A classical education offers a robust liberal arts background while also preparing you for careers or advanced education in diverse fields including business, law, communications, and medicine.
The Classical Languages and Literatures (CLL) track enables intensive study of ancient languages, requiring competency in both Ancient Greek and Latin.
