The M.D./Ph.D. Program prepares a select group of highly dedicated students for careers as physician-scientists specializing in clinical and translational research. Participants gain dual proficiency in both biomedical research and medical practice, equipping them to lead studies focused on preventing and treating human diseases. Upon completion, students are awarded both an M.D. and Ph.D. degree simultaneously.
This intensive program is designed to be completed within six to seven years. Customized academic planning enables students to maximize the university's educational resources through a unified, well-structured approach. The enhanced curriculum develops graduates capable of excelling in research, education, patient care, and fostering collaboration between basic science and clinical departments across academic, governmental, and corporate settings.
