Ecohydrology is an interdisciplinary field that combines elements of the water cycle with ecosystem patterns and processes. This specialization equips students for water-focused careers in areas like hydrology, watershed studies, GIS and remote sensing applications for watershed management, water quality evaluation, aquatic ecosystems, and the conservation of water-dependent environments. The curriculum explores how water influences ecological systems, with special emphasis on addressing natural resource management issues at the watershed level.
