The Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a Media concentration caters to students pursuing careers that utilize Spanish language proficiency. This program provides aspiring media professionals with essential training in Spanish language studies, linguistics, and cultural understanding. The curriculum explores the grammatical frameworks of both English and Spanish (including U.S. Spanish variations) while fostering bilingual and bicultural fluency. Multiple courses incorporate practical, scenario-based learning tailored to journalism and other specialized fields, equipping graduates with valuable Spanish-English bilingual skills for professional success.
Graduates will demonstrate professional Spanish writing abilities that showcase linguistic/cultural evaluation, analytical reasoning, and Advanced-level (or superior) writing competence.
