Recognizing that every student has unique needs, Boyd provides flexible Juris Doctor options including full-time and part-time tracks. The full-time day program spans three years, while part-time day and evening options extend over four years.

Boyd leads the way in transforming legal education, equipping graduates with exceptional preparation for legal practice. Our curriculum blends comprehensive skills training and professional development with a challenging academic framework. The JD program harmonizes conventional classroom learning with hands-on experiences. Key components - including Lawyering Process courses covering legal research, writing, and analysis; the Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution; the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic; plus externships, simulations, service learning, and community service initiatives - guide students in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving for clients.

Boyd alumni master the art of legal practice, combining theoretical knowledge, analytical skills, practical wisdom, sound judgment, innovative thinking, and ethical standards. They emerge with deep legal understanding, practical application skills, and readiness for evolving professional opportunities.
