The Kinesiology Bachelor of Science program emphasizes human performance research. Enrolled students will explore core scientific disciplines including anatomical kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control, and the psychosocial aspects of physical activity. To graduate, students must fulfill all Kinesiology core requirements, complete UNLV's general education curriculum, and select a concentration track. The program offers two specialization paths: Allied Health or Comprehensive.
The Allied Health concentration prepares students for graduate studies in medical fields, physical therapy, and related healthcare professions. The Comprehensive track allows students to investigate both theoretical and practical dimensions of human movement, covering physiological, biomechanical, and psychosocial perspectives on performance.
