The accounting field has experienced significant transformations in recent years, expanding in scope and complexity. Accountants serve as reliable, impartial experts who deliver crucial information for decision-making and act as strategic business consultants. Numerous accounting professionals advance to senior leadership roles due to their educational foundation, ethical standards, and expertise gained through academic and career development. The accounting curriculum holds accreditation from AACSB - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
All students admitted to the accounting program must pass a proficiency test before registering for ACC 400 and achieve at least a B- grade in ACC 201 & ACC 202. Those who completed ACC 201 & 202 at other institutions should consult the Undergraduate Advising Center.
