The Industrial/Organizational Psychology faculty bring extensive knowledge, specialized skills, and practical experience from both academic research and real-world applications. Our program maintains close collaborations with professors in the College of Business and College of Information Science & Technology, while also cultivating relationships with numerous businesses and organizations across the Omaha region and beyond.
Our graduate students' achievements are a top priority. They receive guidance through mentorship programs involving both faculty members and advanced peers. Aligned with the scientist-practitioner approach, we offer diverse research opportunities and practical fieldwork experiences alongside comprehensive academic coursework. We actively encourage student participation in relevant local and national professional organizations to support their career aspirations. Our alumni have successfully obtained positions across various sectors including corporate environments, consulting agencies, and academic institutions.
The Master's program in industrial/organizational psychology equips students for professional practice while also laying the foundation for further academic pursuits. Our curriculum follows the scientist-practitioner framework endorsed by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
