The School of Communication provides both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs, featuring majors in Communication Studies (CMST) and Journalism and Media Communication (JMC). To complete a Communication Studies major, students must earn at least 48 credits, along with 15 additional credits in a secondary field for the Bachelor of Science degree or 16 foreign language credits for the Bachelor of Arts. The Communication Studies program offers five specialization tracks: instructional communication and corporate training, intercultural communication and diversity, interpersonal communication and conflict resolution, organizational communication and leadership, and rhetoric and public culture.
