The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art (BASA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs both demand at least 120 credit hours of coursework.
The BASA offers a broad liberal arts education with a focus on studio art. Within this program, 54 out of the 120 required credits must be in ART classes.
The Art & Art History department cultivates artists, academics, and educators by encouraging creative exploration, visual understanding, and analytical skills through hands-on practice and scholarly investigation. Students gain expertise across multiple art disciplines, equipping them to excel in their professional paths and create meaningful societal impact. The program holds full accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
