The Glenn Korff School of Music provides graduate programs in conducting (choral, orchestral, and wind band) at both the Master's and Doctoral levels. Prospective students should be eager to become part of an academic community focused on advancing conducting as a performance discipline. Admission to the selective conducting studio is highly competitive, with limited spots available. The studio maintains a small cohort of Master's and Doctoral candidates, requiring exceptional musical ability, academic rigor, professional conduct, and strong interpersonal skills. This program aims to cultivate technically proficient and artistically expressive conductors equipped for careers in professional and educational environments.

Written Statement of teaching philosophy (Option ID and Option II only)
Writing Sample: A sample of scholarly writing is required if your intended program (A) includes a specialization in Music Education with a thesis or (B) focuses on theory or history.
Video of teaching (Option ID, Option II only)
Applicants to the Office of Graduate Studies whose native language is not English are required to submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of at least 6.5
