The Glenn Korff School of Music provides graduate programs at both the Master's and Doctoral levels for conducting specializations (including choral, orchestral, and wind band disciplines). Prospective conducting students should seek to become part of an academic community focused on the scholarly, performative, and pedagogical aspects of conducting as a specialized performance art. Admission to the conducting studio is highly selective, with intentionally limited enrollment. The studio maintains a modest cohort of graduate students (comprising both M.M. and D.M.A. candidates), requiring exceptional musical ability, academic rigor, professional conduct, and strong interpersonal skills. This program aims to cultivate technically proficient and artistically expressive conductors equipped for careers in professional performance and academic environments.
