The Glenn Korff School of Music features an extensive faculty and exceptional facilities. The Westbrook Music Building includes a music library with around 55,000 books, scores, and periodicals, 18,000 recordings, plus computer listening and video stations. The school also provides a dedicated music computer lab and a cutting-edge music technology classroom with specialized software for composition, instruction, and notation. Performance venues include the Lied Center for Performing Arts, designed for large touring productions, and Kimball Recital Hall. Master of Music (M.M.) students can specialize in performance, music education, composition, music history, theory, conducting (orchestral/wind band/choral), jazz studies, woodwind specialization, or piano pedagogy. Doctoral (D.M.A.) programs focus on performance (applied instrument or chamber music), composition, jazz studies, or conducting. The Ph.D. program offers specializations in music education, piano pedagogy, or vocal pedagogy. Additionally, a certificate program in music entrepreneurship is offered.
