The Glenn Korff School of Music provides graduate programs at both the Master's and Doctoral levels for conducting specializations (including choral, orchestral, and wind band). Ideal candidates for the conducting program seek to become part of an academic community focused on the scholarly and practical aspects of conducting as a performance discipline. Admission to the conducting studio is highly selective, with intentionally limited enrollment. The studio maintains a small cohort of students (comprising both M.M. and D.M.A. candidates), requiring exceptional musical ability, academic rigor, professional conduct, and strong interpersonal skills. This program aims to cultivate technically proficient and artistically expressive conductors equipped for careers in professional performance and academic environments.
