The Department of Educational Psychology provides graduate programs including a Master of Arts (M.A.) in educational psychology, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in psychological studies in education. For the M.A. and Ph.D. programs, students must select a focus area among developmental and learning sciences, counseling psychology, quantitative/qualitative/psychometric methods (QQPM), or school psychology (available only for Ph.D. candidates). The Quantitative, Qualitative and Psychometric Methods specialization stands out as an interdisciplinary curriculum equipping students with diverse competencies in research methodologies, psychological assessment, and statistical applications. This program distinguishes itself through its balanced focus on qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research techniques, while incorporating cognitive and developmental aspects of educational psychology.
