With grasslands covering nearly 60% of Nebraska's terrain, students enjoy outstanding hands-on learning experiences. The program begins with foundational coursework in grassland systems, math and statistics, communication, and natural sciences, followed by specialized study in either Grassland Ecology and Management (GECM) or Grazing Livestock Systems (GLS).
