The School of Accountancy holds independent accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Its purpose is to deliver outstanding educational experiences, produce influential research, and actively connect with the community. Specifically, the School achieves its goals by: Encouraging critical thinking, scholarly achievement, business acumen, and accounting mastery, Generating meaningful, practical research, and Partnering with industry professionals. The accounting curriculum equips business students with fundamental skills for analyzing business and public sector operations, while providing specialized knowledge for accounting majors. Graduates completing the College of Business accounting program and/or the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) degree gain excellent preparation for careers in corporate, government, or public accounting sectors.
