Alongside standard MA Literature requirements, Ecocriticism students will complete advanced courses including Ecocritical Theory and Practice (LIT 422), plus specialized seminars in Literature, Nature and Politics (LIT 524) and Special Topics in Ecocriticism (LIT 502). Students can choose from diverse electives covering Place-Based Literature, Nature Writing across British and American traditions, and Ecological Themes in Global Literary Works.
