Whether pursuing the Criminology (BA) degree on campus or via UMOnline's distance learning option, students learn from distinguished UM faculty. Each instructor holds a Ph.D. in sociology, with three of our four full-time faculty members specializing in criminology through advanced graduate training.
This program cultivates analytical abilities, offers thorough knowledge of the U.S. justice system, and provides hands-on learning through internship opportunities. Graduates leave equipped for careers in policing, corrections, victim services, or advanced studies in sociology, criminal justice, or legal fields.
