Political Science involves the methodical examination of political systems and processes. It explores how individuals and organizations wield and challenge authority. Consequently, this field focuses on governance structures within societies and the distribution of political power. The department provides diverse undergraduate programs analyzing local, national, and global political systems. Students can pursue a bachelor's degree in political science or political science-history, minor in political science or global public health, or specialize in areas like American government, international affairs, public policy, non-profit management, development studies, or constitutional law. Graduate programs include a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration.
