The Department of Communication and Media provides a specialized certificate program for students pursuing careers in health communication. This program explores health communication dynamics through multiple lenses. Core courses cover diverse topics including mass media impacts, interpersonal interactions, organizational messaging, and cultural influences. Graduates will gain skills to identify, assess, and create impactful communication approaches for both personal and community health improvement.
After finishing the program, certificate recipients will be able to:
