The Spanish Bachelor of Arts program covers these key disciplines: Cultural Studies, Language Structure, Literature of Spain, and Latin American Literature, often incorporating interdisciplinary methods. This curriculum prepares students for careers in single-subject teaching credentials, bilingual education, as well as professions in media, marketing, legal writing, law enforcement, corporate sectors, public administration, medical fields, national defense, foreign service, language translation, book publishing, media production, and more.
Program Learning Objectives
Demonstrate proficiency in three communication styles - interpretive, conversational, and presentational - to engage effectively with native speakers in international environments
Understand and critically evaluate spoken and written materials in Spanish as socially and contextually influenced constructs, enabling meaningful contributions to both local and worldwide communities
