Our division boasts outstanding graduate programs where students learn from and conduct research under the guidance of top-tier scientists. Multiple academic tracks are available, enabling students to pursue conventional study paths or interdisciplinary approaches that leverage our division's broad expertise.
While many enjoy reliable access to plentiful food, numerous regions worldwide face severe challenges from plant stressors - both biological and environmental - that threaten crops and human populations alike. Our research focuses on understanding plant reactions to environmental pressures, diseases, and pests to develop practical solutions. We also investigate how beneficial microorganisms can support and even enhance plant vitality. Our mission includes training graduate students for professional roles in molecular plant stress responses, plant pathology, and associated disciplines.
