This program emphasizes hands-on conducting experience while combining theoretical knowledge, historical context, and teaching methods to equip graduates for careers in conducting, education, or advanced academic pursuits. Students gain practical experience through conducting labs, various ensembles, and five established performance groups. Admission Requirements
Bachelor's degree in music (or equivalent qualification)

Fundamental piano proficiency
Completion of two undergraduate conducting classes
